Scans are unlimited on every plan, including free. What you pay for is how many new links you make, how long we keep the history, and whose domain sits in front.
How much does Klip cost?
Klip is free for 50 links a month, with unlimited scans and links that never expire. Starter is KES 1,400 a month for 1,000 links, your own domain and a year of history. Studio is KES 4,900 for unlimited links, five domains and ten members. No plan puts anything in front of a scan.

Your links keep redirecting if you stop paying. Downgrade, cancel, disappear — the codes on your posters keep working. What you lose is history, custom domains and the ability to make new links. A code on a wall is your customer's property as much as yours, and switching it off to collect a subscription is not a lever we are willing to hold.

One short URL, whether you use it as a link, a QR code, or both. Re-pointing an existing link is free and unlimited.
You cannot create new links until the reset. Everything already printed keeps redirecting and keeps counting scans.
No. A code that goes viral costs you nothing extra. We think metered redirects are a bad idea for anything printed.
Yes — M-Pesa or card. Prices are set in KES; the dollar figures above are indicative and move with the rate.
Questions
The things people ask before they commit something to paper.
What happens to my links if I downgrade?
They keep resolving. Downgrading reduces how many new links you can create each month and how far back analytics go; it never disables an existing link or inserts anything into a redirect. Links printed on something physical are not a lever we are willing to pull.
Why is there no free custom domain?
A custom domain is the single feature that separates a hobby user from a business one, so it is where the paid line sits. Everything that makes a link work — resolution speed, uptime, no interstitial, no expiry — is on every plan including free.
Is there an option for permanent 301 redirects?
Yes, per link, on paid plans. A 301 passes SEO value to the destination, but browsers cache it permanently — so clicks stop being counted and the destination can no longer be changed. It turns a dynamic code back into a static one, which is why it is opt-in.
Do you take M-Pesa?
Yes. Paying by M-Pesa is a first-class option rather than an afterthought behind a card form, because for most Kenyan businesses it is the normal way to pay for a subscription.
