Tools that do the job on the page
No signup wall in front of a working tool. Everything here renders through the same engine that produces the files customers print.
Are these QR tools really free?
Yes. Every tool here works without an account, produces files with no watermark and no expiry, and does not put a limit on how many codes you make. An account only becomes necessary when you want a code whose destination can be changed after it is printed.
Paste a link, get a code you can print. SVG for print, PNG for screens, with the four-module quiet zone rendered in and the contrast checked before you download.
Enter the distance people will scan from and get the minimum printed width, including the allowance a logo needs. The 10:1 ratio, done for you.
More tools are coming — a UTM builder and a WiFi code generator next. They land here when they are worth using, not before.
What the tools will not let you do
Most of the value in a QR tool is what it refuses. These three refusals are the difference between a code that scans on a wall in a dim room and one that only scanned on the designer's monitor.
The four-module margin is rendered into the file. Scanners use it to find the code at all.
Under a 3:1 luminance ratio the download is blocked, with the ratio and a working pair offered.
Past about 22% of the width, error correction H can no longer recover what the logo hides.
